How to go to Canada medical exam (MCCEE)

First part

First thing
is go to PCRC.org (Physician Credentials
Registry of Canada)

Make an account
online In addition to the
usual account creation information (username, recovery questions and answers,
etc.), you will also berequired
to provide your personal information (name, date of birth, city and country of
birth, etc.), contactinformation (address, phone, e-mail, etc.) and information relating
to your medical degree (name ofuniversity or medical school/college, dates attended, date of
graduation, degree name, name ondiploma, etc.). Once your account is created, you will be issued a
system-generated temporarypassword by e-mail. You will be prompted to change this password the
first time you log in to yourPCRC online account.

VERIFICATION

Submit your documents to PCRC:
Once you have submitted
your online source verification request (SVR), you will be required to submit all documents associated with
your SVR directly to PCRC. All documents must be copied and
certified.

After that have 2 Photographs

These
two photographs must be identical.

b. The photographs must be:

i.
Current - taken within the past six months,
ii. Colored,

iii.
4 by 6 ,
iv. Passport-quality - full-face and very clear with contrasting
background (white) . Scanned photographs are not passport-quality and therefore
not acceptable, and
v. Original (not taken from an existing photo).

c. You must attach ONE copy firmly to the Declaration and Authorization
for Release of Information Form, in the designated space, and officially
certified The seal of office, stamp or signature of the certifying official must
appear partly on the photograph and partly on the Declaration and Authorization
for Release of Information Form.

d. You must print your name, sign,
and insert the date on the back of the second photograph. Unacceptable
photographs will render a source verification request incomplete.

Now
you must go to Canada Embassy and stamp there the copies as true copy of the
original
They work in Saturday Monday Wednesday from 8-12 and
take with you 355 SR

After that put each cover Sheet on
each one in this order

Put the application package in an envelope and courier

Finally Monitor your document
review status through your PCRC account.

Once your documents have reached a
“Review Performed – Pass” review status and your medical degree (or alternate to medical
degree) has reached a minimum verification
status of “Ready for Verification”,
you can submit your MCCEE application.

If you
are applying online, you must print and submit the Application Form that is
generated upon successful submission of your online application. Your PCRC ID
number will print on the form, in the “Office Use Only” box on the right-hand
side.

If you are not
submitting an online application, you must download the Application Form from
the MCC Website and complete it by hand. You must ensure that you print your
PCRC ID number in the designated space on the form and that you include a copy
of your PCRC Profile Report with your application

You must submit a current Declaration Form with
your January 2008 application. The MCCEE Declaration Form is posted on the same
Web page as this pamphlet and consists of two pages. If you apply online,
a direct link to the Web site is provided at the bottom of the Application Form
that is generated upon submission of your online
application.
As a
first-time MCCEE applicant, you must complete your Declaration
Form

Your name and
other core data must be recorded consistently at PCRC and MCC/C&R. In
addition to your legal name, your
core data includes your date of birth, country of birth, gender, and
all information relating to your primary medical qualifications (country of
graduation, university or medical school/college of graduation, graduation date,
diploma issue date, degree type, name on diploma, etc.). If you apply online
for the MCCEE, your core data will be imported from your PCRC profile at the
time of your online application

If you are completing your application by hand, you must
submit a copy of your PCRC Profile Report with your application to confirm that
the required “positive” document statuses were reached at the time of submitting
your application. Because MCC-Online will not allow you to apply online for the
MCCEE unless the required “positive” document statuses are reached, this report
is not required if you are submitting an online
application.

PHOTO/SIGNATURE FORM: All first-time MCCEE applicants must submit this form the first time
they apply for the MCCEE. The Photo /Signature Form is posted on the same Web
page as the current document. If you apply online, a direct link to the Web site
is provided at the bottom of the Application Form that is generated upon
submission of your online application

All first-time MCCEE applicants must submit two
(2) identical color photographs with their first MCCEE application in
2008

The photographs
must be current, i.e. taken within the past six (6)
months.
• The photographs
must be color (black and white photos are no longer
accepted).
• The
photographs must be passport-size, i.e. 50 mm (2 inches) wide by 70 mm
(2¾ inches) long.
• The
photographs must be passport-quality, i.e. full-face and very clear with
contrasting background
(light backgrounds work best on the Entrance Card). Scanned
photographs are not passport-quality
and therefore not acceptable.
• The photographs must be originals, i.e.
not taken from an existing photo.
• The photographs submitted with the Declaration Form and with the
Photo/Signature Form must be
identical.

If you
are not submitting an online application (i.e. you are completing your
application by hand), you must download and print the Registration & Payment
Form If you are applying online, you do not have to submit the Registration
& Payment Form given that all center, language and payment related
information will appear on the Application Form that is generated upon
submission of the online application.

you would like to proceed if you cannot be assigned to your
1st choice session and center
due to space restrictions (2nd choice examination center, transfer to another
session/center, or withdraw application).
• Indicate the amount and method of payment.
8. Credit Card Authorization Form
• Required only if completing application by hand (not
required if applying online)
and if paying by Visa or MasterCard
• Payment must be authorized in Canadian
dollars
9.
Payment
•
Candidates applying online
must pay the full amount owing by Visa or MasterCard at the time of online submission.
• The full payment must be submitted with the paper application if
completing
the
application by hand. Accepted methods of payment:
− Certified cheque, bank draft or money order (non-certified personal
cheques and post-dated
cheques not accepted).

Credit card – Visa or
MasterCard only, using the Credit Card
Authorization Form (see above).
